Program Manager - Foundation Liaison
The Swedish Foundation is seeking a compassionate, highly professional Program Manager, Foundation Liaison to serve as a trusted advocate and point of connection for our philanthropic donors, grateful patients, and families as they navigate Providence Swedish Medical Center. This newly developed role is ideal for a nurse, former clinician, patient advocate, care coordinator, healthcare navigator, or experienced healthcare professional who understands the hospital environment and is energized by providing exceptional, personalized service.
In this role, the Program Manager will lead the Foundation Liaison Program, helping ensure that donors and Foundation constituents feel known, cared for, and supported while maintaining appropriate boundaries around clinical care, privacy, and equity. The liaison does not provide patient care or clinical direction; instead, this position helps coordinate communication, ease navigation, and connect donors and families with the appropriate clinical and administrative resources.
This position may be especially well suited for a nurse or healthcare professional who is ready to apply their clinical judgment, communication skills, and understanding of patient and family needs in a new way. The ideal candidate is comfortable in hospital settings, understands medical terminology and care processes, and can navigate sensitive situations with warmth, discretion, and confidence.
Successful candidates will bring a service-oriented mindset, strong emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust with donors, families, physicians, nurses, executives, and Foundation colleagues. Experience in nursing, patient relations, care coordination, case management, patient navigation, healthcare administration, healthcare philanthropy, or a related clinical or hospital-based role is highly valued.
Providence Swedish caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Join our team at Swedish Shared Services and thrive in our culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.
