Job Description

As a Strategic Architect, you will establish and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with our dedicated OEM customers. You will lead the development and implementation of complex programs, coordinating cross-functional and departmental teams to ensure successful delivery of new and existing initiatives. You will drive the technical and strategic development of key projects within assigned accounts, helping to strengthen customer partnerships and support business growth.

You will report to VP, Global Industry Sales OEM

Responsibilities - you will do:

  • Drive RA technology adoption by developing strong technical & professional trusted customer relationships
  • Is part of customer's development cycle in the cornerstone applications
  • Facilitate Customer engagements with BUs to ensure product developments meet Customer's requirements
  • Specify future product / service requirements therefore adds value for both Rockwell Automation and the Customer
  • Provide foresight on market trends by running value analysis of potential new solutions
  • Keep records of major activities and milestones using best practices
  • Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of assigned tasks
  • Provide mentoring to other peers in a given area of expertise.

The essential - you will have:

  • BS in Automation or Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in Industrial Automation products, systems and solutions
  • Knowledge of applications and market trends in the core industries
  • Deep expertise with designing, developing and implementing of discrete or process PAC system

The preferred - you might also have:

  • Excellent working knowledge with Rockwell Automation portfolio
  • Experience in project management by leading and motivating the team monitoring their performance and providing appropriate feedback
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical information to different levels, within internal and external organizations through a developed network pan EMEA and globally
  • Ability to show technical leadership in engagement activity involving other technical resources as required
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA and occasionally to globally
  • Full compliance and support RA Ethics, Security, and Legal policies
