As a HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety.

You will report directly to our leadership team and you’ll work out of our Ciudad Juarez, Mexico location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.

Leadership and Safety Culture : 

  • Promote a preventive culture throughout the organization.
  • Influence all levels: operational, supervisory, and management.
  • Manage cultural changes (behavior-based safety).

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure internal and external audits.
  • Keep regulatory documentation and evidence up to date.
  • Avoid sanctions and legal risks.

Focus on Results and Business

  • Integrate HSE with business objectives.
  • Balance safety with productivity.
  • Use indicators for decision-making.
  •  Justify safety investments (ROI).

Incident Investigation

  •  Apply root cause methodologies (5 Why’s, RCA, TapRooT, etc.).

HSE Systems Management

  •  Implement and maintain integrated management systems.

Training and Development

  • Design safety training programs.

Effective Communication

  • Constant communication with employees.
  • Crisis management and transparency.
  • Influence and negotiation.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in HSE engineering
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
