Finance Analyst - FP&A & Operations

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This role offers broad exposure across FP&A, business partnering, finance operations and controlling activities. The primary focus of this role is sales finance – supporting the commercial cycle from invoicing through to COGS and inventory management on the finance side – while also contributing to FP&A activities such as budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.  The successful candidate will support financial performance management while ensuring efficient and robust finance processes across the business.

Responsibilities
FP&A & Business Partnering
  • Support the monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, identifying key performance drivers and variances.
  • Partner with business functions to support financial performance management.
  • Prepare financial analyses, management report and ad hoc business insights.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting and planning processes.
  • Drive the automation of recurring finance processes and develop dashboards to enhance data visualisation and management reporting. 
Finance Operations
  • Act as the primary Finance point of contact, driving end-to-end coordination with Sales Operations for customer onboarding, documentation, invoicing, and collections.
  • Own the order-to-cash cycle by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing in collaboration with Sales and Customer Operations teams.
  • Partner with the Accounting team to support inventory, cost of sales management and revenue recognition activities.
  • Support reporting and process improvements within the team.
Controlling
  • Support with purchasing and inventory related activities required from a finance perspective, in collaboration with Operations and budget owners.
  • Support with period-end activities on a monthly or quarterly basis as required
  • Support finance process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with COGS variance analysis and inventory valuation reviews on a periodic basis.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • +3-5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, accounting or a similar finance role.
  • Experience in a fast-growing, international or medtech/life-sciences environment is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
  • Proficient Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central or similar) and comfort navigating sales, inventory and order data.
  • Appetite for process automation and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Query or equivalent). 
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • English and French at a fluent level
