Job Description
We are seeking an entry level Material Planning Coordinator to join our fast-growing aerospace and defense manufacturing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary link between Materials Planning and Manufacturing Operations personnel. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and assemblies through the factory to support Manufacturing plans and contractual delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Materials Coordinator and Expeditor
- Materials Expediting: Expedite backordered materials and kit movement between the stockroom and the production floor.
- Production Expediting: Expedite assemblies and subassemblies from production to inspection, test, and completion
- Utilize the Costpoint ERP system to look up materials, complete and issue subassemblies and assemblies, and enter status as required
- Shortage Mitigation: Provide shortage visibility to the Manufacturing and Materials Team to enhance production efforts. Interface with Materials Coordinators and Manufacturing personnel to resolve issues as required.
- Data Integrity: Provide accurate statuses of production hardware and related materials.
- Data Packages: Prepare and assemble data packages to release with assembly kits to production
- Other Related Duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education & Experience
- Education: High school diploma.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in production planning and project material management, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry or 2 years in a working team environment focused on positive outcome and results.
- Computer: Must have mid-level proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and email.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to collect data and disseminate accurate information.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate functional inter-relationships between Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Test, and Warehouse. Must be able to communicate clearly with others utilizing both verbal and written skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in maintaining audit-ready records and tracking high-value components.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to multi-task and pivot priorities in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $32730 - $52369
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
