Accountabilities

    • Oversee performance and operational activities across assigned field agencies to ensure achievement of key business metrics including production, manpower, applications, and internal reporting standards.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and motivation to General Agents, Assistant General Agents, field staff, and administrative teams.
    • Conduct regular in-person field visits across the Midwest region to evaluate operations, support teams, and reinforce performance expectations.
    • Partner with regional leadership to implement field strategies, address operational gaps, and resolve performance-related challenges.
    • Monitor agency performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.
    • Support complaint resolution and operational issue management, ensuring timely and professional handling of field concerns.
    • Strengthen communication between field teams and leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing field effectiveness and service quality.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred.
      • 8+ years of experience in life insurance operations, agency management, or field performance roles.
      • Strong understanding of insurance industry practices, operations, and performance drivers.
      • Proven leadership and team management experience in a field or multi-location environment.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
      • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
      • Experience handling escalations, complaints, and operational issue resolution.
      • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Midwest U.S. region.
      • Insurance certifications such as FIC, FLMI, or CLU are considered a strong advantage.
