- Role: Medical Assistant
- Location/Type: Jefferson County, AL • Nationwide Travel Role • Field-based
- Pay: $31/hour
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, weekdays
What You'll Do
- Visit patients in their homes, not exam rooms
- Complete Annual Wellness Visits (Medicare) and Well-Child Visits
- Focus on preventive care, not urgent care
- Build meaningful patient relationships with unrushed visits
- Support seniors and families in their homes
- Document visits using modern EMR tools
Must-Haves
- 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
- CMA, RMA, or equivalent Medical Assistant credential
- 6+ months of primary care or internal medicine experience
- Comfortable traveling daily to patient homes
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Open to statewide travel within Alabama and travel to nearby states as needed
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
- Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
