Position Overview
The Golf Cart Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and efficient transportation services throughout the community while supporting daily property operations. This position assists residents, guests, vendors, and staff by providing transportation, conducting community patrols, reporting maintenance and safety concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service.
The Golf Cart Driver serves as a visible representative of the community and helps maintain a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment.
Core Responsibilities
Safely operate a golf cart throughout the community while following all traffic and safety regulations.
Provide transportation assistance to residents, guests, and visitors within the community.
Assist residents with packages, small personal items, and mobility needs when appropriate.
Conduct routine patrols of community roads, amenities, parking areas, and common areas.
Observe and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, rule violations, and suspicious activity to management.
Respond professionally to resident questions and provide general community information.
Assist with community events by transporting residents, supplies, or event materials.
Perform basic daily inspections of the golf cart to ensure it is clean, safe, and operational.
Report on equipment maintenance needs or mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain courteous and professional interactions with residents, Board Members, guests, vendors, and fellow employees.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and community rules.
Complete assigned logs, reports, and incident documentation as required.
Assist the management team with additional operational tasks as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required or GED preferred.
Previous customer service, hospitality, security, transportation, or community association experience preferred.
Valid Florida driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to safely operate a golf cart and comply with all community safety policies.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm and courteous when interacting with residents and guests.

Work Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive a golf cart for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and sunlight.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with small packages or personal belongings.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and special community events as scheduled.
Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required.
