As a Human Resources Trainee, you’re not just providing support to HR department – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
An intern in the Human Resources department will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the department’s activities and projects. Specifically, the intern will be responsible for performing the following tasks in accordance with the company’s standards:
*Coordinate projects and activities with the department, and provide support and assistance.
*Maintain communication with the relevant departments (via email, phone, and in person)
*Assist team members with their requests
*Draft informational emails on behalf of the department
*Keep each department’s filing system up to date: vacation schedules, calendars, etc.
*Assist with team member recognition activities.
*Assist with the coordination of company events.
*Support team members’ training activities.
*Attend meetings.
*Be familiar with and follow emergency procedures when necessary; report unsafe conditions.
*Maintain a good working relationship with others.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
*Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills
*Positive attitude and a proactive approach
*Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service
*Organizational skills
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Professional demeanor
*Appropriate conduct
*Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Training program
*Intermediate English proficiency
