Job Summary
Regional Director - Branch Lead

As a Regional Director, you’ll report directly to the VP in a client‑facing role that requires building strong relationships both in and outside the office. You’ll develop through hands‑on experience, peer collaboration, and ongoing technical training.

This is a list of the most prominent duties and responsibilities
- Financial Acumen. Full responsibility and control of the financials for the branch(es). In depth understanding of costs, revenue, billings, projections, margin, gains, fades, commitments, AR, AP, etc. Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics, deep dive as necessary to find root cause issues, and implement corrective action with the team.
- Leadership Skills. Identifying roles and responsibilities, strengths and weaknesses, creating feedback loops and training opportunities. Train and develop all team members for career growth. Effective management of the Customers, Vendor, Sub and team.
- Regular communications with your peers around the company, both inside and outside of your region.
- Estimating and Change Orders. Proficient in both project estimates and change order estimates. Identifying scope and scope gaps. Coordinating vendor and sub quotes and scopes. Negotiating change orders with customers.
- Proficient in scheduling of our work and integration with the GC’s schedule. Understanding and experience with pull planning. Proficient using scheduling software (Microsoft Project, P6). Understanding work breakdown structures. Work closely with Project Teams to ensure cohesiveness and goal alignment.
- VDC and Preconstruction. Experienced with a detailed preconstruction process (after job award and before install in the field starts). Experience with VDC projects (2D and 3D modeling). Significant experience with Prefabrication and kitting. Experience on projects incorporating Trimble Total Station or other similar technology solutions.
- Process and Procedures. Must be comfortable with a system that has documented processes and procedures for all tasks. Use of technology platforms for financials, project management, etc. Ability to properly roll out and train on these processes as well as follow up for adherence to them.
- Comfortable with establishing and maintaining customer relations. Understanding the balance between protecting our Company and maintaining relationships with clients. Attending networking events.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or 6-7 years of electrical industry field experience
- 4-5 years of managerial experience overseeing construction project teams, with a focus on electrical systems and installations
- Established track record of successfully delivering multiple large-scale electrical construction projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and developing project management teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal/professional development
- Willingness to travel within the region as required to support multiple project teams
- A history of collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and foster a culture of safety and efficiency
PREFERRED:
- 10+ years of experience leading project management teams
- Strong project management software & Microsoft Suite skills
- 10+ years of experience with critical and emergency electrical infrastructure, or data center infrastructure
- Strong in electrical estimating, estimating software, scheduling and budget management
