Oracle’s Government, Defense & Intelligence team seeks a dynamic Technology Software Sales Professional – Senior Sales Manager to drive growth and innovation across Oracle Software and broader Technology Cloud solutions for the U.S. Federal Civilian Agencies and other strategic customers. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy, leading and coaching a team of technology software sales professionals, strengthening executive customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across the business. This is a hybrid position that involves 3 days a week in-office work and/or meetings at the client site. Candidates must be based in the greater Washington, DC area. Responsibilities Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for Oracle Technology Software solutions within the Civilian sector, identifying key opportunities and aligning Oracle offerings with agency priorities.People Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technology Software sales professionals, establishing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and sales excellence.Pipeline & Forecast Management: Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, territory planning, and execution to consistently achieve and exceed business objectives.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior Civilian sector decision-makers, contracting officers, and technical stakeholders to understand mission requirements and technology modernization goals.Technology Solution Leadership: Partner with solution engineering, architecture, and product teams to position Oracle Software and Technology Cloud solutions that address security, compliance, performance, and mission-critical requirements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, legal, contracting, and delivery teams to support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, negotiations, and successful customer outcomes.Industry Expertise: Stay informed on Civilian priorities, budgets, modernization initiatives, cloud adoption trends, and competitive market dynamics. Qualifications / Experience7+ years of technology sales management experience, preferably focused on Software infrastructure, platform, or enterprise technology solutions.5+ years of experience working with U.S. Civilian federal government clients, preferably within Civilian or related sectors.Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales...
