Accountabilities:

    The Functional Consultant will support customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, combining finance knowledge and technology expertise to configure solutions, improve processes, and drive successful adoption.

    • Analyze customer finance, procurement, and accounts payable processes to understand business needs and operational challenges.
    • Lead discovery sessions to identify requirements and translate business objectives into functional system configurations.
    • Configure financial systems and SaaS platforms according to implementation best practices.
    • Advise customers on process improvements, automation opportunities, and ways to maximize platform value.
    • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and go-live activities.
    • Guide customers through adoption of new systems and ensure successful implementation outcomes.
    • Explain product capabilities and how new features impact business processes.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Product Specialists, and Customer Success teams.
    • Manage multiple implementation projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivery quality.
    • Act as a trusted advisor by connecting business requirements with effective technology solutions.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a finance or business operations professional with experience implementing enterprise systems and supporting customers through digital transformation projects.

      • Professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related business functions.
      • Experience implementing ERP systems, financial platforms, or SaaS solutions.
      • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or Spend Management processes.
      • Experience working directly with customers during software implementation projects.
      • Ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into functional configurations.
      • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
      • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
      • Professional-level English proficiency for international customer interactions.
      • Experience with platforms such as Medius, Oracle Financials, Oracle NetSuite, SAP FI/MM, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor M3, Coupa, Basware, Ariba, or Jaggaer is a plus.
      • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Business Intelligence, or reporting tools is a plus.
