Customer Service Representative - Mission Support & Service Operations

At Teledyne FLIR Defense, our technologies help support critical missions for defense, public safety, and emergency response teams around the world. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play an important role in ensuring customers receive timely support, parts, and service while helping the team maintain efficient operations.If you enjoy solving problems, coordinating across multiple teams, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting products that serve vital missions.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries by phone and email
  • Prepare spare parts quotations and process customer requests efficiently
  • Process purchase orders, contracts, and payments while ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Generate shipping documentation and support order fulfilment activities
  • Coordinate closely with technicians, peers, and internal departments
  • Manage customer data and documentation for international return requests
  • Screen customers, systems, and transactions in accordance with trade regulations
  • Help reduce spare parts backlog and maintain service workflow efficiency
  • Process government receipts and shipments through PIEE
  • Maintain reports and support additional service-related activities as needed

What you need

  • Required: Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Required: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Required: Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Required: Comfortable lifting 20-30 lbs
  • Advantage: Experience in customer service or service operations
  • Advantage: Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems
  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Salary Range:

$44,500.00-$59,300.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
