Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute market development and sourcing strategies aligned with business growth objectives across SMB and Enterprise customer segments.
- Analyze demand signals and customer behavior across major e-commerce channels, including Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, TikTok Shop, and emerging platforms, to identify assortment gaps and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain frameworks for assortment planning, prioritization, lifecycle management, and category expansion.
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, onboarding, and negotiations to secure high-impact products and strategic partnerships.
- Optimize category performance through data analysis, pricing strategies, product positioning, and continuous assortment improvements.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track category success and emerging trends.
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, supply chain, partnerships, and marketing teams to align execution with strategic priorities.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to maintain a differentiated and competitive product offering.
- Drive process improvements, vendor performance initiatives, and scalable playbooks that support growth across regions and channels.
- 8+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, sourcing, marketplace strategy, or related fields within e-commerce environments.
- Proven success in building and scaling high-performing product assortments in multi-channel or marketplace ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in vendor management, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Deep understanding of digital commerce platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and social commerce channels.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies and recommendations.
- Experience serving diverse customer segments, including SMB and Enterprise clients, with a strong understanding of differing market needs and purchasing behaviors.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing category performance metrics, profitability, and growth initiatives.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and successfully lead initiatives from strategy development through execution.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced business experience is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required to support business objectives and strategic partnerships.
