The Industry Strategists team within the Economics Enterprise Unit is seeking an intern to support a range of quantitative modeling projects, including our industry revenue forecasting dashboard. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience applying statistical and programming skills to real-world economic analysis. This is a fully remote/virtual position.Responsibilities
Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of the industry revenue forecasting dashboard
Support data collection, cleaning, and validation across various modeling projects
Help build and refine statistical/econometric models under the guidance of senior team members
Create visualizations and summary outputs to communicate findings to stakeholders
Contribute to documentation of modeling methodologies and processes
Collaborate with Industry Strategists on ad hoc analytical requests
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Working knowledge of R and Python (coursework or project experience is fine)
Familiarity with data manipulation and basic statistical/forecasting concepts
Strong attention to detail and interest in applied economic analysis
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $31 - $46 per hour
