The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Platform Engineer – AI & Multi-Cloud Platforms, you will deploy and manage platform services for cloud, data, and AI workloads, enabling engineering teams through automation, self-service capabilities, and operational best practices while maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant environments.

Leads the deployment, configuration, and operation of cloud-native platform services supporting cloud, data, and AI workloads.
Implements automation and standardized deployment patterns using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
Determines platform configurations, operational standards, security controls, and observability requirements to ensure reliable and compliant services.
Supports engineering teams by providing self-service capabilities, reusable platform services, technical guidance, and operational expertise.
Demonstrates willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to support business-critical platform services and ensure operational continuity.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology
3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical role.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized applications.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar), GitOps practices, and CI/CD technologies.
Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud networking, and security fundamentals.
Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational support of cloud-native services.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience supporting platform services in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Experience operating and supporting multi-cloud environments and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
Experience working in healthcare IT environments with knowledge of regulatory requirements, protected health information (PHI), and security controls for cloud-based solutions.
Skills include collaboration, problem-solving, customer focus, continuous learning, and effective communication across global teams.

Remote
Travel: May include up to 10% international
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
