Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver CPO in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post that supports a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation while helping protect patients, visitors, and staff.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for staff, visitors, and/or deliveries, while reporting unusual activity and following post orders for restricted areas.
- Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, local laws, and site requirements, while using sound judgment and clear communication during routine and emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPO is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
