Supervisory Supply Management

The W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center seeks an experienced logistics leader to serve as Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) for a multi-site Health Care System.The CSCO directs and integrates all supply chain functions, including planning, procurement, distribution, accountability, lifecycle management, and readiness of supplies and equipment essential to Veteran care. This supervisory role reports to the Deputy Medical Center Director. Recruitment Incentive may be authorized. Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization; Plans and coordinates fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations; Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain; Conducts logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness/efficiency reviews; Manages all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement and logistics management activities; Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model; Forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution; Leads and/or participates in regular meetings, ensuring logistics needs and requirements are being met; Performs other related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:am - 4:30pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
