Introduction to the Team:
This role is under Platform Quality team & We are looking for high performing individual contributor who has worked prior on or willing to work on Scalable internal tools & utilities creation for developer productivity enhancement.
Must have developed Internal or industry standard based web or native app test automation solution which is highly stable & scalable.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks, internal tools, and utilities that leverage AI/ML‑enabled solutions to enhance developer productivity and accelerate release cycles.
Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code using strong knowledge of software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals across multiple tech stacks including native mobile apps, web, and APIs.
Investigate and perform root cause analysis (RCA) of test failures and system issues, using deep understanding of the surrounding systems, logs, and monitoring to design and implement durable fixes.
Safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve test coverage, failure detection, and feedback loops, while ensuring reliability, observability, and maintainability of these solutions in production workflows.
Utilize and refine industry‑standard test automation frameworks, CI/CD workflows (such as GitHub Actions), and operational tooling (such as RCP/MCP servers, Datadog, Splunk) to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
Collaborate across teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies in code, tools, and processes, driving cross‑organizational improvements, documenting major technical initiatives (including RCAs), and sharing learnings with broader groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Professional software development or test automation engineering experience, including building and debugging applications and internal tools, with strength in at least one programming language and exposure to multiple technology implementations.
Working knowledge of industry‑standard testing and monitoring tools for automated and distributed systems, and the ability to interpret system behavior and logs to perform effective RCA of failures.
Ability to design and implement code and framework changes that improve stability, reliability, and test effectiveness across services or components, including familiarity with CI/CD workflows and observability tooling.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing software, automation frameworks, or internal tools in at least two programming languages (such as Java and Python), including designing and maintaining test automation systems or high‑usage internal utilities from scratch.
Proven ability to apply design patterns for scalable, maintainable systems and frameworks, including system design (low‑level design), API design, and data modeling for test and tooling platforms.
Demonstrated impact in selecting appropriate technologies and architectures to solve business and quality needs, connecting team goals to broader business outcomes and identifying project‑level business problems with corresponding technical solutions.
Familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including safely integrating and operating AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve test automation, developer workflows, or quality insights.
Experience operating test automation and internal tooling at scale, including optimizing CI/CD pipelines, observability (Datadog, Splunk), and reliability for multi‑service or cross‑platform environments.
