We are seeking a Java Back-end Specialist Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.

Accountabilities:
- Develop high-quality backend applications using Java and modern software engineering practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Build and manage authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Develop secure identity management flows involving Identity Providers, Resource Servers, and Authorization Servers.
- Implement access control strategies based on roles (RBAC) and attributes (ABAC), including security policies and custom claims.
- Work with frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Authorization Server, and Apache Camel.
- Design secure integrations with enterprise identity platforms, including Keycloak, Auth0, Azure Active Directory, Okta, LDAP, and Active Directory.
- Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring security through encryption, HTTPS/TLS, CORS, CSRF protection, and PKCE practices.
- Create automated tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers to ensure software reliability.
- Monitor production systems, identify issues, and implement improvements.
- Contribute to code documentation, technical standards, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within development teams.
- Participate in onboarding activities, helping new team members understand processes and technical practices.
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong experience as a Java Developer, with expertise in Java versions 8 through 21.
- Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Authorization Server, and related backend frameworks.
- Solid experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML 2.0, and enterprise authentication protocols.
- Expertise with SSO solutions and identity platforms such as Keycloak, Auth0, Azure Active Directory, and Okta.
- Experience designing and implementing Identity Providers and Authorization Servers.
- Knowledge of security concepts including cryptography, JWK/JWS, HTTPS/TLS, CORS, and CSRF.
- Experience integrating systems with LDAP, Active Directory, and SCIM.
- Experience with relational databases and backend application development.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Git or similar version control repositories.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, collaboration mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures with SSO is a plus.
- Knowledge of security compliance practices, including LGPD and GDPR, is considered a differentiator.
- Certifications in programming languages, cloud technologies, or agile methodologies are desirable.
