Expected salary range of $192,600 to $214,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Responsibilities

Primary Purpose of Position

A senior lawyer responsible for supporting all aspects of the development and construction of natural gas-fired power plants, battery storage facilities, solar farms, and carbon capture and sequestration facilities across the United States.

 

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Plan, conduct, and supervise complex legal assignments
  • Evaluate legal and business risks and advise clients accordingly
  • Interpret and apply organizational policy according to law
  • Represent the company in agency proceedings and litigation
  • Prepare and revise budgets and early matter assessments involving outside counsel
  • Provide leadership to less experienced attorneys and support staff
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-years professional experience in a specialized area of law
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and to analyze legal materials and data
  • Excellent legal research, analytical abilities, and knowledge of federal and or state law
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures, with the ability to apply them to complex assignments
  • An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdictions
