Regional Client Service Processing Leader - LAC
We are seeking a talented individual to join our CSS Team at Marsh Re. This role will be based in Mexico City . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We are looking for a professional who combines strong technical expertise, leadership with focus in operational excellence ideally with direct experience working with global brokers or reinsurance markets. This role combines deep reinsurance expertise with operational leadership, overseeing teams responsible for the servicing and administration of reinsurance programs, financial flows, claims coordination, and client support activities.
The Regional Client Service Processing Leader - LAC is responsible for leading the client service organization across a defined region, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical processing and post placement operational support.
This role partners closely with regional broking leadership to ensure the effective execution and servicing of reinsurance placements while maintaining the highest standards of operational quality, financial discipline, and client service.
As a senior member of the regional leadership team, this role plays a critical part in scaling servicing capabilities, strengthening technical expertise, and advancing the firm’s global operating model and digital servicing strategy.
We will count on you to:
- Lead the regional client service organization, including service leaders, technical specialists, and fiduciary teams.
- Implement the firm’s global client service strategy while aligning regional service delivery with business growth and client priorities.
- Serve as a key member of the global client service leadership team, contributing to operational strategy, resourcing decisions, and organizational development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence across the regional service organization.
- Provide advanced technical expertise across the reinsurance lifecycle, including treaty and facultative programs.
- Support broking teams and clients on complex placements, program structures, and servicing considerations.
- Ensure the accurate servicing of reinsurance accounts, including: premium and claims flows, account reconciliation, financial settlements, client and market reporting
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues impacting client servicing or operational delivery.
- Maintain strong knowledge of global reinsurance market practices, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.
- Partner closely with regional broking leadership to ensure servicing capabilities support business growth and client retention.
- Participate in strategic client discussions where servicing expertise is critical to delivering solutions.
- Ensure client service teams provide proactive and responsive support to broking teams and clients.
- Strengthen alignment between broking and servicing teams to enhance the overall client experience.
- Lead the execution of the firms global servicing model, ensuring effective coordination between regional teams and global operations centers.
- Collaborate with service hubs and technical processing teams across multiple locations to ensure seamless delivery of servicing activities.
- Promote standardized processes and consistent service frameworks across regions and teams.
- Support the effective allocation of work across global teams to optimize capacity, technical expertise, and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to the continued evolution of the firm’s global servicing capabilities.
- Oversee the end-to-end servicing of reinsurance programs across the region, ensuring high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and operational discipline.
- Drive the adoption of standardized operating procedures and global service frameworks.
- Monitor operational performance through defined metrics including service quality, cycle times, productivity, and financial flows.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce operational complexity, and enhance service quality.
- Ensure strong governance of financial flows associated with reinsurance programs, including premium and claim collections and settlement.
- Monitor aged balancesand cash management performance.
- Partner with finance and broking leadership to strengthen financial outcomes and reduce operational risk.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and risk management standards.
- Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and digital servicing tools across the regional client service organization.
- Partner with the global team to implement solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and service quality.
- Leverage data and operational insights to identify opportunities to improve client servicing outcomes.
- Support the development of scalable servicing models enabled by technology and digital platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional client service leaders and technical servicing teams.
- Build deep technical capability across teams through training, mentoring, and professional development.
- Promote strong collaboration across CSS, broking and support functions.
- Support succession planning and leadership development across the client service organization.
What do you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field.
- 15+ years of professional experience in insurance or reinsurance broking, client servicing, or technical operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in reinsurance servicing, financial flows, and operational execution.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, geographically distributed teams.
- Treaty and facultative program servicing.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
