Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution of laboratory and field validation testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and services typically does not require Engineering degree
  - Responsible for design and construction of test facilities, test rigs, instrumentation systems and the development of test software
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or industrial engineering.
• 0-1 year engineering experience

• The required work location is Greenville, SC (relocation assistance is available)

• 10%-15% travel both domestic and international

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000 and $108,000. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.  

Bonus eligibility: 5% discretionary annual bonus
