What You Will Do

The Associate Director, International Total Rewards is responsible for leading the implementation, administration, and governance of RTX compensation, benefits, mobility, and total rewards programs across the Raytheon’s international locations. This role serves as the primary Total Rewards expert outside the United States and leads a team of total rewards managers to ensure consistent program delivery, compliance, and operational excellence across EMEA and APAC, and other global regions. The position requires strong leadership, the ability to influence in a matrixed environment, and expertise in harmonizing policies and practices across diverse countries while maintaining alignment with RTX Total Rewards governance.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three international compensation managers, ensuring strong technical capability, effective workload management, and high-quality delivery.
  • Set clear performance expectations and drive accountability across the team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and escalation support for complex compensation cases, salary recommendations, job evaluations, and market data interpretation.
  • Oversee the team's execution of compensation cycles, benchmarking activities, and analytical deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with Raytheon expectations.

Program Implementation & Administration

  • Implement and administer RTX compensation, benefits, and mobility programs across all non-U.S. locations.
  • Manage annual compensation cycles, including merit planning, incentive administration, market pricing, mobility allowances, and job evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Total Rewards Centers of Excellence to ensure program alignment and escalate issues requiring policy interpretation.
  • Partner with Payroll, HR Operations, and local HR teams to resolve cross-functional compensation, mobility, and benefits issues.

Policy, Process & Practice Harmonization

  • Lead efforts to harmonize total rewards policies, processes, tools, and practices across countries to improve consistency and reduce operational variation.
  • Assess regional deviations and align local practices with enterprise governance and statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement standardized workflows, documentation, and governance processes across international locations.


Stakeholder Partnership & Consulting

  • Serve as the primary advisor to HR Business Partners, regional HR leaders, and business leadership regarding compensation and mobility administration.
  • Support leaders and HR teams with data-driven insights, providing clear recommendations based on market analysis and business needs.
  • Communicate program changes, annual cycle requirements, and policy updates across international stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Mobility to ensure integrated and compliant execution of global processes.


Compliance, Governance & Vendor Management

  • Ensure internal controls, audits, and governance standards are met across all regions.
  • Partner with Raytheon Benefits Lead and Corporate team to manage relationships with international benefits brokers, third-party providers, and mobility vendors, ensuring timely resolution of escalated issues.
  • Monitor compliance with global labor regulations and partner with Corporate and regional HR teams to implement corrective actions as needed.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree with 12 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 10 years of related experience.  
  • 10+ years of progressive Total Rewards experience with strong international scope.
  • Experience managing or leading teams of compensation professionals.
  • Experience administering compensation programs and job evaluation methodologies.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and provide insights
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with mobility workflows and global benefits administration.
  • Professional certifications such as CCP, GRP, or GPHR.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
