Accountabilities:

    As a Principal Product Manager, Interoperability, you will own strategic product initiatives that expand platform capabilities, improve healthcare data exchange, and deliver measurable value for customers, partners, and internal teams. You will act as a senior product leader, driving alignment across technical and business stakeholders while translating complex interoperability challenges into scalable solutions.

    • Define and execute product strategy for major interoperability initiatives, identifying opportunities, prioritizing investments, and guiding roadmap development.
    • Partner closely with engineering, operations, partnerships, commercial teams, and product leaders to deliver platform capabilities that expand reach and impact.
    • Develop a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, integration patterns, data models, and customer needs to shape effective product decisions.
    • Translate business requirements, technical constraints, and market opportunities into clear product direction, requirements, and strategic narratives.
    • Navigate evolving interoperability standards, regulatory considerations, enterprise integration needs, and ecosystem dynamics to ensure long-term platform success.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making across teams without direct authority.
    • Own products throughout their lifecycle, from opportunity discovery and roadmap definition through launch, measurement, optimization, and iteration.
    • Champion scalable platform thinking by creating reusable capabilities, services, and solutions that provide leverage across the organization.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings extensive product leadership experience combined with strong technical understanding of healthcare interoperability, enterprise platforms, and complex data ecosystems. You are a strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with practical execution while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

      • 8+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or a related role, ideally within healthcare technology, enterprise software, platforms, APIs, or data exchange solutions.
      • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability, including healthcare data workflows, EHR integrations, APIs, provider or payer ecosystems, and regulated environments.
      • Experience with interoperability standards and integration approaches such as FHIR, HL7, healthcare APIs, identity management, consent, and data mapping.
      • Ability to evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, technical limitations, and business priorities to guide product strategy.
      • Technical proficiency with the ability to understand system architecture, APIs, workflows, data models, and engineering constraints.
      • Experience building platform products, shared services, or scalable capabilities rather than only standalone solutions.
      • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments.
      • Excellent organizational and execution skills, with a track record of managing complex initiatives and delivering outcomes.
      • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating product documentation, strategy presentations, diagrams, and decision-making materials.
      • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
