Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach rooted in teamwork, care, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the campus location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with campus contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and report issues through proper channels.
- Support campus operations during special events, high-traffic periods, and/or after-hours activity by providing a visible presence, assisting with directions, and following post orders for assigned areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
