Associate Quality Production Specialist

The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Production Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and dispositions, quality procedures and verification of engineering requirements.
- Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes.
- Participates in the investigations to determine root cause(s) of nonconformances of plans production material and processes.
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
- Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to disposition nonconformance(s) of plans, products, or processes.
- Assists with the development, modification, and documentation of actions process improvements to ensure effective corrective/preventive action.
- Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution.
- Validates that corrective actions are effective in eliminating the cause(s) of product or process nonconformances.
- Plans and conducts product and process audits to ensure that material is produced in accordance with applicable guidance and is conforming with engineering requirements.
- Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
- 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
- Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
- Experience with regulatory requirements
- Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
