And we're just getting started.Join us to put AI to work for people. Job DescriptionWhat you get to do in this role:   Work with team members spread across multiple offices and other partners (Finance, Legal, IT, and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure revenue recognition procedures complyEvaluate actions required for compliance with ServiceNow revenue recognition accounting process, including the bookings and billings processComplete required month-end close activities including revenue reconciliation and management reportingHelp with process improvements and implementation of revenue reporting to further improve revenue tasks and shorten revenue close cycleDocument reviews following ASC 606 accounting standardsProvision and creation of training on revenue recognition rules and policies to partners (Sales, Deal Desk, Legal and Sales Ops) and any other departmentsPerform contract analysis review to ensure subscription contracts have been accounted forQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.3+ years of applicable Accounting experienceExperience with (US GAAP) software revenue recognition under ASC 606Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) revenue accounting experience is a plusSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in MS Products especially ExcelPrior SAP is a plus FD21Additional InformationWork PersonasWe approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust.
