Job Description

Responsibilities

• Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, SumoLogic, or Dynatrace to analyze application and system logs.
• Proven experience providing support across complex environments.
• Perform initial triage and investigation during incidents, providing resolutions or recommendations to minimize business impact.
• Read and understand application code (both front-end and back-end) to aid in troubleshooting and debugging efforts.
• Collaborate with development teams using Git platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and automation within the environment management processes.

 

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java 8 or above.
• Expertise in cloud technologies and cloud‑based application deployments
• Good understanding of the concept of Observability and experience implementing observability.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or0 SumoLogic.
• Ability to read and understand application code for troubleshooting purposes.
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with backend databases and core backend applications; and,

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP for checking service health and logs.
• Experience with container platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes for basic application troubleshooting.
• Understanding of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation scripts.
