Primary Care and most Specialty Care offices must process STAT and ASAP referral workqueues for results received
Return scheduling knowledge to include the ability to scrub schedules for accuracy and efficiency in home department Monitor in-baskets and reports for overdue results, waitlisted appointments, recalls, etc Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Presbyterian is seeking a Patient Visit Specialist. In this position, you will coordinate patient care and ensure an exceptional patient experience, schedule specialty and radiologic procedures, obtain prior authorizations, certifications, and referrals as required by payors, process daily referral work queues for authorization, deferring only those needing payor consideration, handle STAT and ASAP referral work queues for Primary and Specialty Care offices, scrub schedules for accuracy and efficiency, and monitor in-baskets and reports for overdue results, waitlisted appointments, and recalls.

Qualifications:

*High school or equivalent
*Minimum 18 months experience in a clinical setting with significant MD interaction
*Must pass EPIC competency for Registration at completion of Epic Clerical
