Accountabilities:
- Develop and guide digital transformation strategies focused on improving production performance, quality, maintenance, sustainability, and workforce productivity.
- Help customers create transformation roadmaps that integrate operational technology, industrial data platforms, edge computing, cloud technologies, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Translate manufacturing challenges into scalable technology strategies and actionable implementation plans.
- Design industrial reference architectures connecting plant-floor systems with enterprise and cloud environments.
- Provide expertise on industrial automation, manufacturing systems, industrial networks, data contextualization, and interoperability standards.
- Facilitate workshops with plant leaders, engineering teams, manufacturing excellence groups, and executives to align technology investments with business goals.
- Develop business value frameworks, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations based on measurable operational outcomes.
- Monitor emerging manufacturing technologies, digital trends, and industry standards to provide thought leadership.
- Represent the organization in customer discussions, partner engagements, and industry forums.
- Advocate for customer needs by identifying capability gaps, market trends, and opportunities for future solutions.
- Collaborate with product management, sales, marketing, and business teams to influence portfolio strategies and support strategic opportunities.
- Support multi-site digital transformation programs and help organizations accelerate adoption of smart manufacturing practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 30–50% of the time.
- 8+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, industrial automation, process engineering, manufacturing systems, digital manufacturing, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience within consumer packaged goods manufacturing or manufacturing-focused system integration environments preferred.
- Demonstrated success solving operational challenges in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, historians, MES, OT networks, and industrial data platforms.
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, industrial architecture frameworks, manufacturing standards, and connected enterprise strategies.
- Experience with edge computing, cloud-based manufacturing solutions, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled industrial applications.
- Ability to develop architectures spanning plant-floor, edge, and cloud environments.
- Strong workshop facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Proven ability to bridge technical, operational, and business discussions.
- Experience leading complex, multi-site transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with industrial technology platforms and solutions supporting automation, manufacturing execution, analytics, and AI capabilities is a plus.
