About the team and the role:

The Ads Incentives Partner Manager shapes and drives eBay Advertising incentive programs that accelerate seller adoption, boost advertiser engagement, and advertising revenue.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, marketing execution, and program leadership. You will work across product, marketing, analytics, finance, and regional teams to translate business goals into scalable incentive programs, build alignment across global groups, and continuously improve performance using data. What you will accomplish:

Incentive strategy and program ownership

  • Shape the strategy for advertising incentive programs to drive seller activation, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Analyze business data and market trends to find high-impact incentive opportunities.

  • Partner with product, analytics, and finance to set program goals, target audiences, and success metrics.

  • Recommend program adjustments and trade-offs based on business impact and operational feasibility.

Cross-functional leadership

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for advertising incentives across product, analytics, finance, legal, and operations teams.

  • Build positive relationships across functions and align collaborators around shared objectives, timelines, and decisions.

  • Lead by influence to resolve ambiguity and keep programs on schedule.

  • Anticipate risks and dependencies early to protect business outcomes.

Program development and execution

  • Own end-to-end planning and delivery of incentive-based advertising projects from concept through launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Own the global incentive's roadmap, operating cadence, and launch calendar across multiple markets.

  • Coordinate achievements, approvals, readiness, localization, quality assurance, and deployment across cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure programs are executed with speed, quality, and consistency while balancing regional nuance and scalability.

Performance optimization and insights

  • Partner with analytics teams to build measurement frameworks and evaluate program success.

  • Track performance metrics and turn data insights into clear recommendations for improvement.

  • Lead post-launch reviews to improve future incentive design and targeting.

  • Present clear performance updates, risks, and opportunities to partners and leadership.

Operational excellence and scale

  • Improve the workflows, documentation, and governance supporting incentive programs.

  • Build scalable processes that help teams complete tasks faster and collaborate better.

  • Establish clear planning and decision-making frameworks between global and regional teams.

  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong operational rigor.

What youll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Experience in partner marketing, marketing program management, product marketing, growth marketing, marketing operations. 

  • Track record of leading complex programs with multiple teams, dependencies, and launch milestones.

  • Strong business judgment and the ability to connect program decisions to customer and revenue impact.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record to influence partners without direct authority.

  • Strong project and program management capabilities, with proficiency in driving multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Analytical approach to work, with experience turning performance data into actionable next steps.

  • Clear, direct communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, online advertising, or retail media.

  • Experience managing promotions, incentives, or lifecycle marketing programs.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, campaign operations, or marketing analytics platforms.

  • Experience operating across global organizations and multiple regions.

  • Familiarity with seller, advertiser, or customer engagement programs in a results-focused business environment.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C$102,800 - C$137,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
