Role responsibilities
The Environmental Specialist will lead engineering and technical reviews for solid waste management facilities and conduct field inspections to ensure compliance. They will also provide technical assistance to local officials and support enforcement activities for non-compliant facilities.
Requirements
Candidates should have 12 months of experience as an Environmental Specialist 1 or four years of training or experience in a related engineering field. A baccalaureate degree in engineering is also acceptable.
