JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager – Project Management Office is responsible for managing and supporting key transformation programs across Integrated Business Services (IBS) and Supported Functions. This role helps ensure that strategic priorities are translated into clear project plans, measurable outcomes, disciplined governance, and sustainable operational improvements.
The role will focus on Finance Asia transformation. This includes partnering with Finance Asia leaders, FP&A Teams, process owners, IBS leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to support transformation priorities, strengthen execution discipline, improve process visibility, enable digital and automation opportunities, and track value realization.
As the Program Manager, this role provides the structure and discipline needed to move Finance initiatives forward. The PMO Manager will align stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, support decision-making, track progress, and ensure transformation work delivers practical, measurable, and sustainable business outcomes for Finance Asia.
Program Delivery and Execution
- Manage assigned Finance Asia transformation programs from planning to implementation, stabilization, and value tracking.
- Convert Finance business priorities into clear project plans, milestones, owners, timelines, risks, dependencies, and success measures.
- Drive day-to-day execution across Finance workstreams to ensure activities are moving, blockers are addressed, and decisions are made on time.
- Ensure Finance transformation initiatives, as well as other assigned functional programs, are delivered with clear scope, defined outputs, accountable owners, and measurable operational impact.
- Track delivery progress and ensure project outcomes are completed, embedded, and sustained after implementation.
- Support Finance Asia leadership in managing transformation roadmaps, prioritization, and execution across key Finance initiatives.
Governance, Visibility, and Accountability
- Set up and manage governance routines, project reviews, executive updates, and stakeholder forums for assigned Finance programs/projects.
- Maintain clear visibility of project status, key milestones, risks, issues, decisions, action items, ownership, and interdependencies.
- Use standard project management tools, templates, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track progress consistently across Finance transformation initiatives.
- Escalate risks and decisions early, ensure follow-through on actions, and drive closure of open items.
- Provide Finance and IBS leadership with clear updates, practical recommendations, and decision-ready information.
- Support leadership visibility by consolidating project updates, risks, actions, and value tracking into clear and executive-ready reporting.
Stakeholder Alignment and Process Improvement
- Partner with Finance Asia leaders, FP&A stakeholders, process owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, scope, resources, timelines, and expected outcomes.
- Facilitate working sessions to understand current-state Finance processes, pain points, handoffs, gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support Finance process standardization, simplification, documentation, and future-state design to improve efficiency, quality, controls, data visibility, and service delivery.
- Ensure transformation plans are practical, aligned with Finance business needs, and supported by the right owners.
- Drive adoption of new ways of working through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, structured change support, and disciplined follow-through.
- Help connect Finance transformation priorities with broader IBS and Hub PMO governance practices, standards, and ways of working.
Digital Enablement and Execution Support
- Work with Technology, Intelligent Automation, reporting teams, and process owners to identify opportunities for automation, dashboards, workflow improvement, and better data visibility.
- Support the implementation of tools and reporting mechanisms that improve tracking, transparency, and decision-making, as applicable
- Build project management discipline across assigned teams through clear templates, routines, roles, and follow-up mechanisms.
- Guide project managers, business analysts, and matrix resources, as needed, to strengthen ownership, execution discipline, and delivery quality across transformation initiatives.
- Promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, accountability, and practical problem solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
- Project Management Certification is a plus
Experience
- At least 8+ years of experience in project management, program management, transformation, continuous improvement, or shared services operations.
- Proven experience leading Finance end-to-end transformation projects, from planning and stakeholder alignment to execution, stabilization, and benefits tracking.
- Hands-on experience managing project plans, milestones, risks, issues, action logs, governance routines, executive updates, and delivery dashboards.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Operations, or Global Business Services.
- Practical experience in process improvement, Lean tools, process mapping, standard work, automation support, reporting, and operational performance improvement.
