This role is a key coordination and relationship management position supporting families and students within a Special Education tutoring program. You will act as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring clear communication, smooth scheduling, and consistent support throughout their learning journey. The position is highly administrative and client-facing, requiring strong organization, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction. Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will manage family relationships, coordinate scheduling, and ensure smooth delivery of special education support services.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned families, building trust and maintaining ongoing communication
    • Conduct intake calls with new families to understand needs and set clear expectations
    • Manage and coordinate complex schedules across students, instructors, and virtual platforms
    • Communicate proactively with families regarding progress, scheduling updates, and any concerns via phone, video, and email
    • Monitor student progress and escalate concerns to relevant specialists or instructors when needed
    • Coordinate closely with instructors to ensure sessions are delivered smoothly and effectively
    • Navigate multiple digital systems daily, including scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and CRM platforms
    • Represent the organization professionally as the main liaison between families and service delivery teams
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in client-facing or educational environments and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a virtual setting.

      • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
      • Prior experience in education, tutoring, or a school-related environment is required
      • Experience in special education, including exposure to IEPs or 504 plans, is strongly preferred
      • Customer service, account management, hospitality, or client success experience is an asset
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities independently
      • Comfortable using multiple software systems such as Google Workspace, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and CRM platforms
      • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment with reliable internet and professional virtual setup
      • Strong professionalism, emotional intelligence, and ability to handle sensitive or challenging conversations
      • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
      • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
