Accountabilities:
- Own the technical roadmap for core product solutions, partnering with architects to define scalable architectures, reduce technical debt, and guide long-term technology decisions.
- Contribute directly to software development by writing high-quality code for complex SaaS applications and solving challenging architectural and technical problems.
- Serve as the primary technical guide for engineering teams, providing mentorship, design guidance, and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive engineering excellence by promoting modern practices such as AI-assisted development, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions to ensure reliable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
- Partner with product management, quality engineering, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into effective technical strategies.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability by identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
- Support distributed engineering teams by removing technical blockers and encouraging strong development practices.
- Promote continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge sharing, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- 7+ years of professional experience developing, maintaining, and improving large-scale, high-availability web applications and services.
- 2+ years of experience working in a hands-on technical lead, principal engineer, or similar architecture-focused role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, system scalability, and integration strategies.
- Advanced experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including cloud architecture, serverless technologies, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Extensive full-stack development experience with Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and familiarity with NoSQL database solutions.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and provide guidance through complex engineering challenges.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineering, product, and leadership audiences.
- Experience implementing secure, reliable, and maintainable software development practices.
