About the Role

At PubNub, you'll shape how we tell the story of the problems we solve. As our Solutions Marketing Manager, you'll transform a broad technical platform into compelling, problem-led messaging that resonates with buyers across our priority industries.

You'll develop solution narratives for the markets where we win today while helping define our "Real-Time Infrastructure for AI" positioning. Working closely with Developer Relations (DevRel), Product, Design, Sales, and the broader Marketing team, you'll create messaging that powers events, sales conversations, account-based marketing, and AI-native discovery.

Success in this role means delivering clearer positioning, improving pipeline quality, enabling buyer-first conversations, and helping scale our solutions marketing function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build solution narratives for priority industry verticals.
  • Develop Real-Time Infrastructure for AI positioning.
  • Create sales and event enablement materials.
  • Partner with DevRel and Product on messaging.
  • Support account-based campaigns with tailored messaging.
  • Test and refine buyer-focused messaging.
  • Validate messaging using customer and market feedback.
  • Partner with Legal to ensure accurate claims.
  • Develop competitive messaging and positioning.
  • Measure and optimize messaging effectiveness.

About You

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B product or solutions marketing.
  • Experience marketing technical or developer-focused software.
  • Track record improving pipeline quality or conversion.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Strong collaboration across Sales, Product, and DevRel.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with APIs or developer platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud or real-time infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AI and agentic applications.
  • Experience with account-based marketing.
  • Exposure to vertical marketing strategies.
