Skills and CompetenciesGood financial backgroundStrong analytical skillsProficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Power BI would be a plusExcellent verbal, and written communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and handle workflow, to adapt to a changing environment, and prioritize tasks accordinglyStrong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detailFluency in English is a plusEducationStudents matriculating through college, studying towards a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in industrial engineering, commercial engineering, information and management control engineering., or another quantitative field. Ideally one year ahead of graduationResponsibilitiesSupporting Analytical teams as needed. Examples of analytical work may include:Participate in key stages of the rating process, providing continuous assistance to the teamsWork on various analytical, research, data, process related projectsCollect data and identify trends to support well-thought-out credit conclusionsPrepare financial documents, charts, and presentationsResponsible for monitoring media outlets for news regarding special projects or portfoliosCollect, process and analyze regulatory filings like M&A announcements, dividend payouts, shareholders meetings agreements and other released material factsProvide analytical and research support to the rating teamsContribute to the creation of high-quality research publicationsAbout the TeamAnalytical teams are responsible for conducting comprehensive credit analysis processes across a wide and diverse range of capital markets entities, including corporations, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies, securitizations, infrastructure projects, and investment funds.In addition, we maintain coverage over an extensive portfolio of power generation projects and companies, in compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to this sector.Our credit ratings serve as a key input for decision-making in the financial market, providing rigorous, timely, and high-quality analysis.
