Accountabilities

    • Lead and mentor engineering teams responsible for delivering scalable data products or secure software systems, including architecture guidance, code reviews, and delivery oversight.
    • Define and drive technical strategy across data pipelines, APIs, backend systems, dashboards, or security controls depending on the domain focus.
    • Contribute hands-on to critical engineering work, including Python/Java development, ETL pipelines, system design, and architecture decisions.
    • Own operational excellence, including system reliability, performance, data quality (for insights roles), or production stability and security compliance (for risk engineering roles).
    • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate risk, compliance, and business requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
    • Promote modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, observability, DevSecOps, and reusable system patterns.
    • Drive agile delivery with a focus on measurable outcomes, continuous improvement, and business value creation.
    • Requirements

      • 5+ years of software or data engineering experience with strong hands-on development in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
      • 2+ years of experience leading engineers with responsibility for architecture, technical direction, and code quality.
      • Experience building and operating scalable distributed systems, APIs, microservices, or data pipelines depending on domain specialization.
      • Strong knowledge of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, observability, and system reliability principles.
      • Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering complex technical initiatives.
      • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and mentor engineering talent.
      • Experience in risk, compliance, security, or data/analytics domains is strongly preferred.
      • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker) and enterprise-scale systems is highly desirable.
