Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute regional medical plans aligned with broader business strategies, providing field insights that influence therapy development and market opportunities.
- Serve as the scientific expert for companion animal therapy areas, supporting product launches, medical initiatives, and customer education programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, veterinary professionals, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders.
- Design and deliver scientific workshops, training sessions, webinars, and educational programs for veterinarians, veterinary teams, and internal colleagues.
- Provide technical support on disease areas, treatment approaches, vaccination protocols, diagnostic practices, and clinical information.
- Partner with sales teams through field coaching, joint customer visits, and scientific capability development.
- Translate complex scientific information into clear, practical messages tailored to different audiences.
- Support clinical and field research initiatives, including trial execution, monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with regional teams.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure accurate scientific positioning, messaging, and campaign development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, disease insights, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation, business reporting, pharmacovigilance compliance, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Travel extensively across the assigned territory to engage with veterinary clinics, hospitals, universities, conferences, and customer events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc. & AH) is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc.), preferably in clinical or para-clinical disciplines, is strongly preferred.
- Valid veterinary practitioner registration and required professional certifications/licenses.
- Minimum 3–4 years of clinical practice or veterinary technical field experience.
- Strong knowledge of companion animal diseases, diagnostics, preventive care, vaccination protocols, and treatment approaches.
- Experience engaging veterinarians, key opinion leaders, academic partners, or healthcare professionals in a scientific capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to present technical information to large audiences through seminars, conferences, or training sessions.
- Strong understanding of clinical research processes, trial monitoring, and scientific reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is strongly preferred, with additional regional language skills considered an advantage.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and build trusted professional relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market intelligence and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large geographic territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, along with standard CRM and communication platforms.
- Prior experience in a multinational healthcare, pharmaceutical, veterinary, or related environment is an advantage.
