Accountabilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for advisors regarding specialized lending solutions, supporting case setup, documentation requirements, and ongoing file management.
- Work directly with advisors and clients to facilitate the completion of applications, disclosure documents, and supporting materials throughout the lending process.
- Review lending files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance, proactively identifying and resolving documentation gaps.
- Provide support on larger and more complex lending cases in collaboration with senior lending stakeholders and internal partners.
- Coordinate with underwriting, credit, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure efficient progression and completion of approved lending transactions.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, status tracking, and file documentation in accordance with regulatory and audit standards.
- Support issue resolution and escalations while fostering strong relationships with advisors and delivering a high standard of client service.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and overall advisor and client experiences.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations, including AML, KYC, and related standards.
- Participate in team initiatives, training activities, and continuous improvement efforts to support operational excellence.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in banking, lending, financial services, or a related environment.
- Strong understanding of lending administration, documentation processes, and client service best practices.
- Experience supporting secured lending products or specialized lending solutions is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with advisor-supported distribution models and multi-stakeholder environments is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence interacting directly with advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
- Fully remote work arrangement within Canada.
- Competitive compensation package with an expected salary range of CAD $85,500 – $125,500, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
