A nursing pool developed by CHI Health for flexible nurses, providing high quality care to patients across multiple nursing departments. Your base rate of pay, merit increases, shift differentials and holiday pay are given in an identical manner as for all core staff. Because this pool is designed to value flexibility, anyone committed to a .6 or higher will earn premium differential pay in addition to normal differential pay.Premium Differential Pay:Earn an addtional 20% on top of your base payResource Team/Float Pool is for you, if you wish to:• Be rewarded for your flexibility in working in multiple nursing departments within a hospital.• Maximize your income by earning premium differential pay.Resource Team/Float Pool is not for you, if you:• Wish the stability of working on a single unit.

The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factorsPlan – Sets measurable and achievable short and long term goals according to standards of care based on the assessment by the nurse in collaboration with the healthcare consumer and multidisciplinary team.Implement – Implements and/or modifies the plan of care using assessment data, clinical reasoning based upon standards of care and evidence based practice. This includes care coordination, education and discharge planning. The nurse is accountable for the care directly, indirectly or through delegation. Professional and legal standards for delegation must be followed.Evaluate – Uses a systematic ongoing process to evaluate progress towards identified healthcare consumer goals.
