About the Team

DoorDash for Business provides meals solutions to companies, but we aren’t stopping there. Our mission is to become a premier benefits partner for executives, employees and administrators across the globe, leveraging the DoorDash platform to deliver industry-leading selection, quality, and customer service to every business customer, for every business use case. We are building an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and fast moving team to create the right products and services for the future of work.

About the Role

As a Manager, Strategy & Operations (Audience Growth & Product Strategy), you will play a critical role in shaping how DoorDash for Business grows its customer base, expands platform adoption, and identifies new product opportunities that can accelerate the business.

You will own the strategy for growing our audience of companies, including how we identify, prioritize, acquire, activate, and expand across key customer segments, personas, industries, and use cases. You will also own product growth strategy for our core platform, helping define how we increase adoption, engagement, retention, and customer value across existing products.

In addition, you will help identify and evaluate net-new product opportunities that can unlock future growth. This includes sizing opportunities, understanding customer pain points, validating demand, shaping early GTM strategy, and partnering with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, and Finance to determine where DoorDash for Business should invest.

A core part of this role will be owning the voice of the customer. You will create structured feedback loops that capture insights from executives, administrators, employees, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and market research, then translate those insights into clear recommendations that inform product roadmaps and business priorities.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of growth strategy, product strategy, analytics, customer insight, and cross-functional execution.

Reporting to the Head of Growth Strategy and Operations, DoorDash for Business, you will work closely with operators, field teams, product and other teams to make your vision a reality.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Strategize
Develop audience growth and product growth strategies for DoorDash for Business, identifying the highest-impact customer segments, personas, use cases, and product opportunities to grow the business.
  • Operate
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to turn growth priorities into clear plans, experiments, launches, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build
Create scalable growth playbooks, dashboards, research processes, and operating cadences that help the team better understand customer needs, product adoption, and expansion opportunities.
  • Grow
Drive growth for the core platform by identifying opportunities to improve customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, feature adoption, and overall customer value.
  • Explore
Evaluate net-new product opportunities by sizing markets, understanding customer pain points, validating demand, assessing GTM feasibility, and recommending where the business should invest.
  • Champion the Customer
Own voice-of-customer feedback loops across customer interviews, Sales and Customer Success insights, surveys, support trends, and product usage data to inform product roadmaps and business priorities.
  • Analyze
Use SQL, AI tools, customer research, and product analytics to uncover insights, prioritize opportunities, and translate data into clear recommendations for cross-functional partners and senior leaders.
  • Construct
Bring structure to ambiguous growth opportunities by creating the frameworks, playbooks, and processes needed to move ideas from insight to action.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 6+ years of experience in product growth, audience growth, GTM strategy, business operations, product strategy, commercial strategy, growth marketing, or consulting; high-growth B2B, marketplace, SaaS, or platform experience is preferred.
  • You have an MBA from a top-tier university and/or experience at a leading strategy consulting firm, ideally McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, or Boston Consulting Group.
  • You understand how to develop audience growth strategies, including customer segmentation, persona prioritization, market sizing, funnel analysis, activation, retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • You can help drive product growth strategy across a core platform, including adoption, engagement, onboarding, feature usage, lifecycle motions, packaging, positioning, and customer value creation.
  • You have experience evaluating net-new product opportunities, including identifying customer pain points, sizing opportunities, validating demand, defining success metrics, and shaping early GTM strategy.
  • You are highly analytical and can translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations. Strong SQL fluency is required.
  • You are AI-forward and use AI, automation, and emerging technologies to accelerate research, synthesize customer feedback, improve analysis, streamline reporting, and increase team productivity.
  • You are deeply customer-centric and can turn customer feedback, behavioral data, sales insights, and support signals into clear recommendations that inform product roadmaps.
  • You are a strong communicator who can turn ambiguous opportunities, customer insights, and data into clear narratives for senior leaders.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, proactively identify growth opportunities, build scalable solutions, and drive execution from concept through implementation.
  • You are an exceptional people leader who can manage and elevate an already high-performing team through sharper prioritization, stronger analytical rigor, clearer operating rhythms, and higher-quality strategic guidance.
