Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Data Governance with a strong focus on accelerating business transformation through data management and operations excellence. The Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring that business requirements are thoroughly understood and effectively translated into IT solutions, with a keen vision for business process management and transformation. Expertise in industry standards and a deep understanding of master data for ERP and supply chain are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business transformation initiatives by leveraging data as a strategic asset.
- Define and execute the data governance strategy to ensure data quality and governance.
- Drive innovation in data operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into IT solutions.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to data management, ERP, and supply chain.
- Apply expertise in master data management for ERP systems and supply chain processes to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to the data governance team, fostering collaboration across IT, business analysts, and executives.
- Manage the budget for data governance and invest in the professional growth of the data operations team.
- Ensure the highest levels of data security and privacy are maintained.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on data governance, performance, and progress of business transformation initiatives.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, or Business), Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in data operations and data management with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.

- Prior experience in Data Transformation.
- Exceptional understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Proven expertise in data quality tools and methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of data management software and tools (e.g., data warehouses, ETL tools, data modeling tools).
- Ability to develop, define, and execute operational processes

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $172,410.00-338,110.00 USD
