About The Job:

Red Hat APAC Services is looking for a Senior AI Engagement Lead to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will lead customer engagements that identify, assess, and validate where artificial intelligence can create meaningful business value, then shape pragmatic roadmaps to help enterprise customers across the Asia-Pacific region progress from AI ambition to practical, measurable, and sustainable AI adoption.

You will work with executives, business stakeholders, product leaders, technology teams, and data teams to separate high-value AI opportunities from hype. You will help customers clarify the problems worth solving, understand what makes an AI initiative viable, and organise the right people, practices, and next steps to move from discovery to validated outcomes. This role requires practical AI fluency and strong business judgment — you will orchestrate the right experts and keep engagements focused on measurable value, not perform hands-on model engineering or solution implementation.

You will work closely with Red Hat account teams, Solution Architects, AI specialists, consultants, and partners to shape opportunities and support successful delivery. This role involves up to 25% travel across APAC to engage with customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead AI discovery and qualification by facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand goals, constraints, pain points, data realities, and opportunities where AI may create measurable value.

  • Help customers distinguish between problems genuinely suited to AI and problems better solved through automation, analytics, process redesign, platform modernisation, or traditional software delivery.

  • Assess candidate AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, data readiness, operational readiness, governance needs, risk, adoption complexity, and expected return on investment.

  • Translate ambiguous customer problems into structured AI opportunity statements with target outcomes, affected users, value hypotheses, success measures, assumptions, constraints, and validation approaches.

  • Build AI adoption roadmaps that sequence validated use cases into a practical journey from discovery to experimentation, delivery, production adoption, and scaling.

  • Orchestrate Red Hat expertise — coordinating account teams, Solution Architects, AI specialists, data scientists, consultants, product teams, customer success teams, and partners to shape opportunities and support successful delivery.

  • Coach customer teams on agile, lean product development, DevOps, product-led delivery, continuous discovery, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and design-of-experiments thinking to accelerate AI adoption.

  • Help customers address the operating model, governance, stakeholder alignment, responsible AI considerations, change management, team structures, and adoption planning needed to scale AI beyond a proof of concept.

  • Position Red Hat APAC Services and the broader Red Hat portfolio within customer adoption journeys, including Red Hat OpenShift AI, Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI, Ansible Automation Platform, consulting services, and relevant partner capabilities.

  • Support account and sales teams to recognise situations where AI discovery, product discovery, Labs, consulting, or transformation engagements may be relevant, and create quality proposals that address customer needs.

  • Contribute to workshop formats, discovery methods, AI opportunity assessment templates, roadmap structures, playbooks, and enablement materials. Mentor other Engagement Leads and Red Hatters on AI engagement practices.

  • Serve as an example of continuous improvement — approach situations with curiosity and an open mindset, share learnings back into Red Hat, and demonstrate evolution of thought and practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in consulting, engagement leadership, digital transformation, product delivery, agile coaching, DevOps transformation, enterprise technology advisory, or a similar customer-facing role.

  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading workshops, discovery sessions, assessments, roadmap creation, stakeholder alignment, and executive conversations.

  • Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and influence both business and technical decision-makers across diverse cultural and professional audiences.

  • Practical AI literacy sufficient to understand AI initiatives, identify potential opportunities, engage credibly with specialists, and guide customers through early-stage qualification and adoption planning.

  • Working awareness of common AI application patterns such as classification, summarisation, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent assistants, workflow automation, forecasting, anomaly detection, recommendation, and decision support.

  • Experience helping customers move from unclear ambition to structured opportunities, prioritised backlogs, validation experiments, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of agile delivery, lean product development, continuous discovery, continuous delivery, DevOps culture, and product-led ways of working, with experience teaching and implementing frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

  • Experience coaching product owners, product managers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams through complex or scaled product development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready summaries, opportunity assessments, workshop outputs, roadmaps, and business-value narratives.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, manage ambiguity, handle competing priorities, and align multiple teams around a shared outcome.

  • Understanding of ROI analysis, incremental value realisation, value streams, opportunity scoring, and outcome mapping within agile delivery models.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native and DevOps operating models, including platform teams, stream-aligned teams, enabling teams, and the distinction between application, platform, and infrastructure operations.

  • Familiarity with Red Hat’s AI and platform portfolio, including Red Hat OpenShift AI, Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI, Red Hat OpenShift, and Ansible Automation Platform.

  • Willingness to travel across APAC (up to 25% of the time).
