As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams. Ireland: €146000 - €150000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more aboutbenefits at Google (https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/benefits/) . **Responsibilities** + Own and drive critical networking reliability programs that support the reliability of Google’s Wide Area Network and Data Center networking across Google Cloud products. + Lead highly technical strategic planning and execution by curating roadmaps, project timelines, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), while proactively managing network dependencies, risk, and mitigation plans. + Directly manage and mentor a team of EMEA-based Technical Program Managers, leveraging resources to maximize program impact and fostering an exceptional people-first environment alongside an excellent portfolio management. + Coordinate projects and establish steering groups across Networking, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) partners, and development teams, ensuring exceptional stakeholder management and clear communication to senior leadership. + Influence and align cross-functional teams with varied priorities, evaluating technical trade-offs to effectively manage business changes and program impacts.
