As a Laundry Attendant, you’re not just preparing linens for washing and distribution – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Sort laundry with care: Pre-sort and separate linens by type and transport them to designated workstations
- Prepare linens for washing: Empty laundry chutes, load items onto belts or bins, and organize loads for washing
- Fold and finish clean linens: Use equipment to iron and fold mats, blankets, towels, and bedspreads for distribution
- Inspect for quality: Identify and separate laundry that requires mending, stain removal, or disposal
- Keep equipment running smoothly: Clean empty hampers and assist with washer and dryer operations as needed
