Job Title: Warehouse Lead - Mesa, Arizona

Job purpose
The Warehouse Lead (WL) directs the activities of the warehouse staff to provide equipment, tools and supplies in order to support and optimize field operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- First point of contact with Smartsheet request for tools and general requests.
- Delegates request and tasks based on date and priority.
- Manage tasks for Warehousemen day to day operations.
- Provide help to Warehousemen for transport of goods and services.
- Communicate with Warehouse Logistics Manager in operations.
- Assist in training of new hires and day-to-day task.
- Maintain Smartsheet general requests and order brain for status and updates.
- Work with Project Managers for special request, stocking, and releases.
- Maintains Storage log/inventory job site materials
- Oversight of PPE inventory
Qualifications
- Warehousemen experience required.
- Some college preferred; HS/GED required.
- At least 1 years’ proven successful experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide innovative thinking to improve processes.
- Problem solving.
- Collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to employee safety.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Warehouse Lead to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time (8 hours or more); bend/stoop, kneel/crouch; lift move or push up to 50 lbs; good manual dexterity (use/management of tools); ability to climb using a ladder. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Generally Monday – Friday during normal business hours (required to respond to after-hours requests); primarily indoors (warehouse); warehouse temperatures varies by season; some office work in a temperature-controlled environment; may encounter noise from machinery/equipment/vehicles
While performing the duties of this job, the Warehouse Lead may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration; may be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions while on construction job sites (weather, noise, etc.).
