We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale MICE, corporate events, and experiential marketing projects. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing operations, production, and client servicing functions while ensuring seamless execution, exceptional client experiences, and strong commercial performance.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in event operations and production, combined with strong client management capabilities. You will collaborate closely with business development, creative, and production teams to deliver high-quality events while driving operational excellence, profitability, and long-term client relationships.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, brand activations, and MICE programs.
- Oversee production activities, including fabrication, staging, audio-visual setup, technical production, logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), project timelines, and quality assurance processes across all projects.
- Own project budgets, delivery costs, and operational profitability while ensuring high-quality execution.
- Build and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, production partners, and logistics providers to ensure reliable project delivery and cost optimization.
- Monitor project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
Client Servicing & Account Management
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Translate client requirements into detailed execution plans in collaboration with creative, production, and operations teams.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals, presentations, project planning, and commercial discussions.
- Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive client retention through consistent service excellence and successful project delivery.
MICE & Event Delivery
- Lead the execution of meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events across domestic and international locations.
- Coordinate travel logistics, venue management, delegate services, hospitality, accommodation, transportation, and event operations.
- Collaborate with destination management companies (DMCs), hotels, airlines, venues, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operations, production, and client servicing teams.
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in the MICE, events, experiential marketing, or event management industry.
- Proven experience leading operations, production, or client servicing functions for large-scale corporate events and experiential projects.
- Strong expertise in project planning, event production, logistics, budgeting, and operational execution.
- Demonstrated experience managing project P&Ls, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
- Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively and provide on-site leadership during events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing both domestic and international MICE programs.
- Strong network of vendors, venues, hospitality partners, and production agencies.
- Background in event management, experiential marketing, exhibitions, conferences, or corporate events.
- MBA or professional qualification in Event Management or Hospitality is an advantage.
