Groundskeeper (Horseshoe Bossier)

The Groundkeeper maintains all greenery and landscaping throughout the property including all maintenance of planters and water systems.

• Maintain health, vitality and appearance of all shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants. 

• Maintain and repair all sprinklers and waterlines associated with above areas. 
• Groom all flower beds and exposed soil on a daily basis. 
• Assist laborers, when needed, with large jobs. 
• Must meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.

• Must have high school diploma or GED.

• Active LA Driver’s License 

• Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team player. 

• Must possess excellent customer service skill. 

• Must be able to work any day, any shift. 

• Must have at least two years previous experience in landscaping or gardening with appropriate certification.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to hear in the full audible range in high noise conditions and possess average vision and color perception. 
• Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, and carry heavy loads, run level surfaces as well as up or down stairs. 
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. 
• Must possess coordination and dexterity to drive power sweepers, forklifts, scissors lifts, and other equipment. 
• Must be able to work in extremes of temperature in excess of 115 degrees or below 10 degrees. 
• Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in emergency situations. 
• Must be able to learn and retain locations, operation, and repair procedures of the property’s equipment.
